Below, upon the rocky ground, rested a fallen figure with darkened wings. Once proud and powerful, he now looked upward toward the light he had abandoned. His raised hand seemed to express many emotions at once: resistance, regret, longing and disbelief.

The guardian did not descend in anger. His face remained calm, solemn and certain. He represented a justice that did not need cruelty and a strength that did not require rage. His victory had already been decided by the light surrounding him.
